As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of My Day...Monday September 26

1. Thought it the funniest thing to see Wisdom class Johnny struggle constantly with his pants and then during our circle time his pants dropped right to the floor. He could have cared less but it was the funniest thing I've seen in awhile!!!
2. Well Jimmy didn't cry in class today, Patty did and it's extremely frustrating to see four adults caterer to her like she's a baby and then wonder why so many of the children here are spoiled rotten!
3. Black Monday didn't turn out so black cause Glory class was actually very good for me today. Mind you, it took me to shock them by eating two of Ted's stickers for them to realize I'm not joking about taking their stickers. I found it rather amusing but I think it kind of freaked them out.
4. Had a great training session and trained with the big boys..... Minsoo and Mr. Park.
5. The sad and inevitable countdown is on until my current gym closes..... Friday will be the last day. Still on the look out for a replacement gym, Mr. Park is helping me out with this though.
6. Had the most interesting run-in with a Korean man that supposedly has been on the look out for me down since our first run-in at the gym entrance (well over a month ago). Was totally thrown off at first until I remembered what our first conversation was about.... he's a big name in boxing here apparently.
7. Agreed to venture out to Seoul tomorrow to check out Mr. Kim's boxing gym.
8. Made the official decision to put off bodybuilding and return to my boxing training.
9. Totally confused by the local movie rental shop.... it costs 50 cents CDN to rent the average movie here but yet tonight it cost me $1.50 CDN and then they charged me an additional $1.50 CDN when I realized there are two videos tapes required for the full movie... how does this work?!
10. Rented "Million Dollar Baby", despite already watching it in Canada, and totally got pumped again about boxing..... you better watch out Egerton, I'm back!!!

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What is one of your passions in life?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.
