1. Woke up extra early so that Paulo and I wouldn't miss his bus to the airport and what happened....missed it by 10mins!!!
2. Our simple and inexpensive route to Incheon Airport turned into an expensive rat-race against the time.
3. Watched Paulo board the plane and thought I was okay until I got on the bus and realized that he may never sit beside me again in Korea.
4. Ventured back to training today and got word that I've got money coming my way cause of my membership and the gym closing.
5. What started out as a simple night out downtown with Kat turned into a huge and long night filled with foreigners and lots of Koreans!
6. Thought I'd have a Je-Min free night until one of his friends recognized me and called him out. Purposely wrote my cell number on a piece of paper and put it on the table for him to see, just to egg him on. He was definitely curious as to who it was for and this started a long conversation about him and I being JUST friends... he wasn't impressed.
7. Spent the evening trying to dodge this white dude who wanted me to punch everyone and anyone for the sake of showing off my boxing skills. And the only reason why I didn't punch him was cause that was exactly what he wanted. My original claim on white dudes in Korea still stays true, it's so sad too!
8. Ran into the Irish idiot and was corrected, he's a Scottish idiot. I'm always surprised at the things and actions of this guy.... he's got no limits to his stupidity!
9. While waiting outside Ryan's house, thought it said that Paulo's first night away from Korea just so happens to be the most clear night! I looked up and saw so many stars, it was incredible.
10. Went cursing around Cheonan on the back of Ryan's scooter at 5:30 am.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Who's your favorite person in your life?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Bite off more than you can chew, then chew it.
-- Ella Williams
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
