As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of My Day...Thursday September 29

1. Took all the kindergartens to the Postal Museum to show them "snail mail"... will these students ever use regular mail? Um,...probably not... it's called EMAIL!!!
2. Murphy's law.... wore my brand spanking new white pants and what happens, Wisdom Jinny spills some grape juice right on them. Thankfully it mostly came out after I practically bathed myself in the public bathroom sink.
3. Wisdom John was sick today at the start of our trip but at lunch he puked up EVERYTHING he ate.... for the past two days, or so it looked like! Yuck! Took him to the bathroom to wash him down and almost went crazy on two ladies who refused to move so he could puke in the sink (stalls were occupied). So he stood there and puked again on himself.
4. Jules called John's mom to ask her why she sent her sick son to school and she responded with, "He says he promised Amy Teacher he would be her partner on the field trip".
5. Talk about big time bonus.... found out Monday is a holiday in Korea. It will be Foundation Day.
6. Co-worker Steve (Korean) discovered and got educated about anti-perspirant today courtesy of Dave. Apparently Koreans don't wear anti-perspirant/deodorant and yet I've never really smelt a sweaty Korean, not even at the gym!
7. Checked out the gym Cara Cara and thank goodness, there is hope beyond my current gym. It's a good size but it'll never replace my gym!
8. Had dinner with Young Un and his friend who's name sounded exactly like my dog's, Daewoo. He tried so hard to impress me with his English but ended up making me blush with his compliments.
9. When I was leaving training five drunk men from the Leader's Club (6th floor) got off the elevator thinking the gym (5th floor) was the first floor. Thought it was funny to see them stumble around and try to make conversation with me....until one pushed Woo.
10. Watched at sweet Woo and joker Young Un turned into tough Korean guys.... Woo pushed one of the men and he went flying onto the elevator floor. Apart of me was wishing I'd be "tagged" in but instead I stood there cheering my boys on.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What is your bad habit?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Don't come home married!
-- My mom (she use to always say this to me, since I was a young girl)
