As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of My Day...Wednesday September 14

1. Daewoo has finally discovered how to jump up onto my bed and what was the first thing he did...he peed! Thankfully for me, Paulo discovered this! Sorry big guy!
2. Finally got my mom's package after what seems like a million years of waiting! Macaroni and Cheese was definitely worth the wait though!
3. Jimmy cried, I'm not surprised, not impressed, and not looking forward to him crying again tomorrow. Let's try proposed solution #65!
4. Buddy-boy Je Min is turning into Stalker Je Min... counted over 25 missed phone calls from him. What's the emergency?! Doesn't he know "911"...opps we're in Korea, it's "119".
5. Had to deal with an overly-excited Betty in my Glory elementary class and so I had to keep everything at least 3ft away from her, including parts of my own body! This girl is like Daewoo, she just doesn't know when to stop.
6. Beginning to think I'm not really white when I found myself agreeing with two of my fellow Korean co-workers on an issue concerning "white people" (aka. foreigners). Then I considered who I hang out with and realized how very few white people I actually do associate with.
7. Tried to show that there was no hard feelings between me and this particular SLP student who I yelled at awhile back for being rude to me. I tried to play with her and so I spun her around on the chair. However, the chair spun too fast, it tipped over and she came crashing down. She totally milked the situation but now she probably thinks I meant to do it! Oh gosh!
8. Came home to a home-cooked Canadian style meal courtesy of my future wife... Paulo.
9. Spent the evening chillin' out with my two men.... Paulo and Daewoo.
10. Finally got back down to business... wedding business that is. Topic for tonight was colour scheme and centerpieces.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What behaviors would you classify as a stalker?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
A foreigner in Korea is like a white person in Harlem.... just different!

hmmm, stalkers are people who think (or really do) need someone whent he other person doesnt. theyll be in a relationship and when the person finds out the other needs them they freak and leaves them because no one wants a clingy partner. the stalker follows the person around for awhle after the breakup as a way to cope.
