1. After my unsuccessful attempt at calming Daewoo down and stop his barking, I kicked him out of my apartment. I walked down to the front doors, pushed him out, told him "run away please" and then went back to my apartment.
2. Daewoo only stayed five minutes outside until I his crying got to me and I brought him back in. Such an unruly child.
3. Was incredibly successful today with walking Daewoo on a harness.
4. Had a nice quiet training session but felt the awkward stares of "Miss I wear bras as tops" trainer girl. May I remind her that I had her body when I was TWELVE! Time to upgrade sweetie.
5. Out of pure curiosity, watched a movie Ryan quoted from and well, that's two hours of my life I'll never be able to get back.
6. Hit downtown with Ryan and his friend from out-of-town. His friend wanted to practice his English on me but as it turns out, I was the one practicing my Korean. It's all good.
7. It was super cold outside but came in to a burning hot toilet seat at Kooma. Can I sue?!
8. Voted "prettiest in Cheonan" by the staff at Kooma. How come it's always the chics who call me beautiful? I think the Alpha store man and Mook are the only two Korean guys that call me beautiful. What's up with that?
9. Correction.... one of the guys at Kooma called me beautiful today. Yah, my score is up to three now. Ryan almost brought the count to four but then he said I had big arms. Crash and burn.
10. Come home super late and was craving a big plate of Canadian bacon, eggs, sausages and toast. Settled for a kimbop and I side order of phone drama with Paulo.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
If you could stay at one age for the rest of your life what age would you choose to be?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Life is an orange.
-- from the movie "One Night Stand"
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
