1. Today I left Busan but before I had to leave I got to have one last day with Seo. I tried to remember what one of my friends had told me, “Enjoy the moment for what it’s worth and don’t think about what the next moment holds”. And so that I did. It was hard not to count down the hours though.
2. Was a bit sick today… plugged nose and sore throat. Seo and I blame it on those overly addicting peanuts I ate the other night at the club… hehehe
3. Although I had stayed in Busan since Friday, my time here seemed too short. As they say, time flies when you’re having fun, and well, that it did. Seo took me to the KTX station and kissed me right in front of everyone… in front of an overly crowded station, the workers, passengers… and apparently in front of his friend too! Yup… he’s PDA Man… hehehe.
4. Entertained myself on the long train ride home by text messaging Hat Boy (the guy who stole my phone a few weeks ago). I know it’s rather strange that I text message some random dude who I’ve only met once, but, he’s nice to me and I use the sentences he texts me as means of studying Korean.
5. I was sad having to leave Busan but I knew I’d be arriving home to a super hyper Mi Nam. Mi Nam must miss me so much and knowing this made me feel so awesome. I remember when I returned home from my visit to Canada in February. Mi Nam was so happy that he couldn’t contain himself… he peed on my pants!
6. Sure enough, when I returned home Mi Nam couldn’t stop jumping on me and he tried so eagerly to lick me… hehehe. I gave in and let him smoother my face with kisses. I missed him too. He only peed a little on my pants though. It was kind of gross but I thought it awesome that he missed me so much.
7. Unfortunately because of changed plans, no one was able to look after Mi Nam today and so he had a hard day. I took him outside to pee and wow…. He must have peed for 3 minutes straight!!!
8. Nasty… Mi Nam is the Anaconda King (number #2)…. yuck!!!
9. Milk Dud stopped by my house, eager to ask a million and one questions about what all went down in Busan. He wanted to know all the juicy details. Mind ya, I’m not one to spill my beans and so I just giggled and smiled at his questions. Hehehe….
10. I miss Seo.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
When will I see you again?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Respect yourself and others will respect you.
-- Confucius
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
