As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I pass by this wedding shop 6 days a week; every time I travel to and from boxing. And every time I pass it, I stop and pick my favorite dress out of the two.... apparently the shop owner has taken notice of my daily routine. She came outside today and asked me, in Korean, if I will one day come in to look at the other dresses. A couple of months ago, her question would have freaked me out... me, check out wedding dresses?.. why?!
"Yes,.. I want to." I answered.

Hi Vbuuren,
... ya, one day I'd love to get married. I feel in my heart that I have finally found my match: Q. He and I together are like nothing I ever imagined. Despite the language difference, cultural difference and whatnot, we are awesome and none of those things have been a problem to us. Yes, we are different... in so many ways, but love is universal and that's what ties us.
As for the world champion... you definitely are my biggest fan, thank you. I'm happy with just conquring Korea.
