LiViNG on the FLipSiDe

As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16^th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I love it how I got strange looks for my 80's headband style from girls at the club who think working up a sweat isn't in line with the look they're going for and insist on wearing padded push-up bras and their long hair down during training... cause it "looks prettier that way".

You ask my coach, I hate it when someone calls me pretty at the club. My boyfriend calls me pretty, but at the club, I go there to get stronger... notice the "er".

AND Sung Hyun is able to make it out on the weekends now so we were thinking May 3rd (Sat pm) we would come out for the night and early morning FAMOUS EGG SANDWICH. I told Sung Hyun that you would cook your specialty to which he replied "CAN SHE COOKING RICE FOR ME".............hehe!!!
