Hey Everyone,
As most of you know by now, tomorrow I am heading out to Canada. My original plans were to make my way up to Incheon Airport this afternoon and camp out till my morning flight, however, looks like Q bought us some 4:30am tickets... yes, 4:30am tickets is right. That''s brutally and I wonder if the sun is even up at that time, I bet not.
Anyways, this means I'll be going to bed soon. Most of today was spent packing and repacking... and then repacking again, oh, and freaking out over getting stuck outside my apartment for over an hour thanks to one of the dumbnut new Sambu security guards who, instead of helping me figure out how to open my door minus a key and dead battery on the door key pad, wanted to make cute conversation about me being on "Love in Asia".... ya, that's a long story I really don't want to get into..... so...ya. Anyways, there's really not much to write about today and I should get going to bed now.
As fo my flight, it’ll be a 3-plane, 20 hour trip that will probably leave me drained, with swollen ankles, struggling with the HUGE timezone difference, and hating peanuts... but it’ll be ALL worth it! I'm eager to hug my mom, listen to my dad's piano playing, kiss Scrappy-Joe, drink Tim Horton's coffee, go bra shopping, sleep in an actual bed, weight train at my old gym, and meet up with all my Tundra Bunny Lovies (aka my friends and friends).
Having said this though, I am sad to leave Mi Nam, my boyfriend, and my boxing team mates and coach behind in Korea. If only I could just smuggle them all in my luggage… hehehe. I wish!
Although I am on vacation, I’m hoping to keep up with my homepage, updating it when I can but pardon me if I fall back a few days or skip some days. I haven’t been in Canada for over a year and a half and so I’m sure I’ll be super busy. You’ll start noticing pictures popping up on a daily bases of Mi Nam and my house. The reason for this being that I hid numerous letters and small gifts for my boyfriend to find while I am gone. The pictures serve as a kind of visual treasure map for him... so now he better miss me... or else... hehehe. Just joke. Anyway, don’t mind the pictures.
Next year I hope to venture back to Canada in the summer but with Q. For now though, he’s back in Korea, watching over my house and hanging out with Mi Nam. I’m curious as to how that will go over… hehehe.

As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
