As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
haha aw. so you've definitely made me want a french bull dog because mi nam is so adorable. if i ever get a dog, i'd definitely consider one. i love the mutt types.
and i have tons and tons of entries of yours to catch up on. i'm only now catching on that you and q are maybe not that much together anymore...hmm...off to read :) hope you're well.
Yo Becca, Hehehe... ya, Mi Nam is an awesome dog. French bulldog's are notorious for their strange sounds (snoring and grunting) but they're not barkers, they love to play, but are content sleeping all day. They are very childlike, faithful and very sweet.
I've never really been a dog person until I got him and then I realized first-hand just how much a little dog in your life so easily becomes as precious as a child to you.
Mi Nam is definitely the love of my life and so I have ABSOLUTELY NO regrets adopting him.
It's like a fairytale... beauty and the beast.
