As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Strange things I came across today included a book where I was the leading character who apparently couldn't handle the stairs.

Am convinced Mi Nam slept with one eye open to make sure I didn't do anything fun without him.

And for some reason I ended up having to carry this carton of eggs around for half a day... long stupid story there that involved this hot pink wallet, an ex boyfriend comment, and me forgetting to strain what I say.... oops.

Hi Amy,
I love that picture of you falling. The cartoon I mean. I laughed hard when I saw it.. I love your sense of humor. I really saw a good fight live as I told you in Indiana and stayed until Sunday morning. The girl I was rooting for lost but did a pretty good job. The other girl Mary McGee was too fast for her and handed out a bit of punishment to Kristy the girl I was rooting for. A black versus white bout is always pretty exciting I think. It was good to see a professional women’s bout.

Yo Beth,
Thanks... lol.
Hey did you take any pictures or whatnot of that live fight you watched? I always love watching live fights, especially when it's my much adored teammates in the ring. I always feel like I'm holding my breath for the entire fight.
Sorry to hear that your girl lost. Never a good feeling but definitely a learning experience and no one can take that from her. Losing definitely sucks, really sucks, but it's how you bounce back and overcome it that's so awesome.
