As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Hey Amy,
I don't blame you for getting ticked off about some of the garbage people write. I would feel the same way. I love reading your blog and if people want to just dump garbage then they should stay away.
These are cute pictures by the way. Your bf seems like he sure treats you right. Great!
I hope your friend Bella Punch's nose is ok. The jabs can do damage but that's the sport you know?
I do hope you knock your opponents out in at least 3 rounds. I bet you do too. I'm rooting for you.
Been so busy lately!!
Beth
Yo Beth,
Ya, I just don't understand. I mean, why would you want to stamp out someone's happiness?! Crazy.
Thanks for continually reading my homepage and for always commenting. You're such a sweetie to me Beth and I always look forward to reading your comments and whatnot.
Are you still on your vacation?
Bella Punch's nose is okay now, thank you for asking. I'm hoping to be able to spar with her next Friday. And yes, it is the sport. You don't get into boxing expecting it to be fun and painless!!!
And thanks for the rooting... root extra loud for me on July 27th, that'll be my BIG stress game!!!
