As the story has it, I woke up and found myself on the very opposite side of the globe... February 16th, 2005 to be exact. I thought I’d do a year and then leave. Four years later and I'm STILL here. I went from being just some random nameless foreign girl to becoming both a university professor and a professional boxer with sponsors knocking on my doors and with a boxing club that went from being just a building down the street to my home away from home and second family.
