2. Gave the doctor my silly rendition of the evil eye and upon telling him that I’ll see him tomorrow again, he changed Snickers’ prescription to a three day prescription.
3. There’s a children’s daycare located across the park from my house and I think 11am marks their singing time. Today I entertained Snickers by singing along to them… hahaha. They were singing some English children’s songs I had taught back at the hagwon when I taught kindergarten.
4. Well my new sofa has finally arrived and yet I think the anticipation of waiting for it was more enjoyable than the actual arrival and using of the couch. I say this because the couch isn’t the so-called ivory color we picked but instead is a grayish-cream. It’s not as long as we had liked and it definitely looks better in the picture. Having said that though, it’s not bad but it’s not so good. I’m sure with a little time I’ll get to like it.
He was testing out the new couch, and yes Vbuuren, Snickers does wear clothes. My house has a "limited clothes" policy though... hahaha.
5. Mi Nam may not like life on the roof top but he’s definitely loving the benefits that come with the change in house and so he gets absolutely crazy-hyper when I take him for a walk. Because there’s really no one around my house in the wee hours and the late hours, walks with Mi Nam have been lease-free for the last week and so morning and evening walks means he gets to run like the wild and jump in the small river beside Guum Ggum. He jumps in the wild weeds, does his duty and then continues to run and frolic like a little kid.
This sure beats the crazy traffic and city sounds that use to wake me up at Sambu.
And here's Mi Nam running to his new home.
6. What started off as a feisty and frisky round of horse-play with Snickers ended off on a sour note when I refused to let go. He had pinned me down and so I had a hold of his t-shirt collar with my teeth. He thought that grabbing my wrists and squeezing them tight would get me to release his collar but it was only after all the feeling and blood had been squeezed out of my wrists that I gave up and let go. By then I was in pain and so I rushed to the bathroom, locked the door and poured cold water over my wrists, leaving Snickers on the other side of the door pleading with me to let him in.
7. Of course I couldn’t be mad at him, we had both gone too far but my wrists were throbbing and starting to swell and so I had to cut my boxing short today on account that it hurt to make a fist with my right hand.
8. Left Snickers at boxing and went home in a huff. My wrists felt so messed up and I was ticked that he still hadn’t apologized… in other words, I pulled a typical Polish-high-pride move and, instead of being flat out and open about the situation, I chose to just leave the club.
9. My Sambu landlady continues to flood Snickers’ cell phone with calls, insisting that we put Sambu back to the way it was when I first moved in. “Does this mean I have to puke all over the bathroom?” I asked Snickers. So I was being rather sarcastic but honestly, when I first moved into Sambu it was a mess and I’ll never forget spending my first night scrubbing puke off the toilet and bathroom floor.
10. Tonight I made the attempt to go over there and clean Sambu. With my right wrist in a wrist sports bandage and my left one not doing too well either, you can imagine how “impressed” I was after trekking over to Sambu lugging a vacuum and a bucket full of cleaning supplies only to not be able to open the door. I think she changed the door keypad number. I tried calling her but had no luck and so back to Guum Ggum I had to haul all that stuff again.

Hi Vbuuren,
Yes, Mi Nam and me are happy. I am glad you are happy too Guy.
My wrist was okay a couple of days later but it was very frustrating to have to relax with training.
