2. I thought this one student looked familiar in my second class. I did a double-look at him and yup, sure enough it was a student I taught last semester in one of my reading classes but oh gosh did he ever look sooooooo different!!!
3. In addition to the readings I had given this particular student to read last semester, he also took the time to ask me for a copy of my fitness book I wrote awhile back and he read it. I never thought he was more than a bit pudgy when I first met him but it looked good on him; he looked cute. Now he’s 10kgs smaller and looking good. He thanked me for helping him so much weight but really it was all his doing. I was just a mere guidance.
4. Ended up walking and talking and then taking the bus downtown with this particular student of mine. He spent a good chunk of his summer in British Columbia, Canada working as a consular at an English camp and then he went to Japan for a bit. Talk about a productive summer!!!
5. As for my summer… hmmm…. Let’s see, what did I do? I had two boxing matches, filmed two TV show documentaries, helped Snickers train for his fight, changed apartments, royally but temporarily messed-up my system with that whole Busan “don’t eat” food situation, celebrated my birthday on the beach, and started weight training regularly again.
6. Returned to training at UP Boxing Club again and it felt like a long overdue decision. As soon as I entered the club Junior Mint called me over and gave me a good whack on the head for not messaging him. He was sure to add a “I love you” after the whack so I guess that balances it out… hahaha. Panty Boy Jr. made me pinky-swear him that I’d never leave again and I was greeted by tons of smiles and “where have you been?” from the high school kiddies and Little Miss Sunshine. Gangster Oppa was there too and he teased me by asking me if I had missed him. “If I say no, are you going to shoot me?” I asked. “No” he said. “I don’t shoot, I punch” and with that he gave me a good punch to the shoulder.
7. I haven’t done pad work for a month now and I thought Junior Mint would go easy on me but with Panty Boy Jr. in the club training the bell got switched from two minute rounds to three minute rounds. This meant that my usual eight minutes (4 rounds) of pad work got bumped up to 12 minutes and with the high school kiddies lining the ring and curiously watching my big return to UP, Junior Mint thought he’d push me even further and not take a break in between two of these rounds. I should also note here that I usually do my sand bag work after pad work but today had done sand bag work first, thinking that Junior Mint was too busy to train me. Needless to say, by the end of training today I really couldn’t feel my arms… hahaha.
8. Returning home to find Snickers practically emptying out my fridge with his I-see-I-eat ways, hence why I’ve started to call him “The Food Terrorist”, was quite the sight but it was me who had the last laugh when he went to hug me and scored a chest full of my sweat… nasty!
Yes.... Snickers IS carrying my purse. He's a typical Korean boyfriend like that.
9. Spontaneous date night with Snickers!!! Snickers likes to pull these random spontaneous date nights and he knew I was hoping to go see Sandra Bullock’s new movie, “The Proposal”, and so he took me to see that tonight.
But he's not so typical with his public kisses for the camera.
10. You can never really overdress for our spontaneous date nights, that’s the beauty of them. Snickers went so far as to buy a new blue dress shirt for the date and I sported a cute little p-dot dress I’ve only once have ever worn.

What are you sporting?

Hello Vbuuren,
I am flattered that you think so. I don't have the super skinny legs that so many Korean ladies have and so I tend to cover them up with pants :(
