2. Made my protein-packed pancake and then it was lights out for me again until about 10:30am.
3. Called the Polish Paradise in Canada and told them all about life at the Guum Ggum. They, like so many others, asked what appears to be the question of the month, “Why did you move out of Sambu?” And, of course like most things in life that we make more complicated than it really is, my answer has a simple version and a complicated version. The simple answer being that I wanted to start a new chapter in my life and I didn’t feel it appropriate to stay in a place that I had found and created with someone else when that person is now a person of the past.
4. My Sambu landlady is trying to play me for a fool and with her still holding ten grand of my cash, there’s not much I can do, that is unless I really don’t care to see my money again. I knew full well awhile ago that I’d have to get the wood flooring replaced but she’s been nagging Snickers, telling him that I have to replace the wall paper and whatnot. Today she complained about the door lock. It’s a $250 touch key pad that I replaced after her original broke on me when day. She had insisted I wait to replace it, claiming that she had to see it for herself, but I couldn’t wait the day, had no other place to stay and so I called the locksmith dude myself. In the four years that I have lived at Sambu I have never used a key and two weeks ago when I lived there the touch key pad was working. It no longer works and now she’s trying to put the blame on me.
6. I can’t thank Snickers enough for having the role of dealing with my Sambu landlady, who’s now officially nicknamed The Sambu "S". He spent a good part of the afternoon arguing with her on the phone and having to deal with me in the background with my over-the-top sarcastic comments. “Ask her if she wants a 1-2 or a right hook… I’ll give her one for free.”
7. The conversation and bickering finally concluded with her saying she’d pay half. “Tell her I’ll give her $400 and let her keep her teeth” I concluded with. Needless to say, talks will resume again tomorrow.
8. Gave into the temptation of eating some of Snickers “gogee food” and allowed him to cook some up for dinner. Dinner consisted of pork, sesame seed leaves, kimchi, and rice and for dessert we ate some grapes, courtesy of K-Gere who personally dropped them off tonight.
9. I tell ya, I’ve got about 70 tv channels of nothing. The movie “The Matrix” has been playing for the past several days on a couple of the movie channels I have and two of my other English channels seem to be playing either “The Tyra Banks Show”, “Prison Break”, some kind of cop/detective show, and some ghost show starring Jennifer Love Hewitt.
10. Bought my winter blanket today. It’s a beautiful pale yellow fluffy blanket with yellow embroidered flowers and it feels like a giant hug when I wrap myself in it… I love it.

Hi Vbuuren,
She is paying for the re-wallpapering but I have to pay to replace the hardwood floor. She still has to give me my key money. It's 10,000,000 Korean won, which is about $10,000!!!
