Highlights of my Day... Monday, November 9

1. My pile of training clothes that I wore today and that needs washing consisted of the following:

- 3 pairs of Adidas training pants
- 3 pairs of socks
- 3 tank tops
- 3 sports bras
- 2 long sleeve shirts
- 2 sweaters
- 2 pairs of leggings
- 1 baseball cap
- 1 pair of hand wraps

2. Today’s training consisted of weight training in the morning, running in the early evening and then boxing in the late evening. I’m switching up my training soon to ditch my leg workouts at Hongik and take on more running but today Junior Mint insisted I load up on training today.

3. Ah my one Monday class. God bless there cute-as-a-button little faces and generosity with bombarding me constantly with smiles. This class IS the perfect way to start a work week.

4. An even more perfect way to start a work week would have been to come home and find my gorgeous man all smiley on the couch. However, he’s still off at his grandfather’s house dealing with that whole situation.

5. Today Snickers called me and told me he cried. He cried in the arms of his father and I couldn’t help but kick myself for not being able to be there for him and his family – our family.

6. In hopes of cheering up Snickers once he would return to Cheonan later on this week, I made him some homemade chocolates. Wednesday we’ll be celebrating Ppeppero Day here in Korea. It’s totally a commercial-made holiday centered around chocolate and Snickers already voiced his refusal to participate in such a money-maker holiday, but I thought a homemade gift would put a smile back on his face.

7. So for the next hour or so I made chocolate ppepperos and then I made chocolate letters for a love letter I later spelled out on a plate for him.

8. Guum Ggum smelt like chocolate and although I must admit I don’t eat much sweets these days, I did indulge in a bit of chocolate. Mind ya, when I went running I seriously thought I was going crazy because all I could smell was chocolate! Turns out I had accidentally smeared a bit of chocolate on the lower part of my nose… hahaha.

9. Took a break in between my intensive training schedule today to chat with Kitty Cat and another coworker of ours at Coffee Bean… and to breath.

10. No sooner did I catch my breath and get comfortable with relaxing but then it was off to more training, this time it was boxing. I showed up just shortly before 10pm. Junior Mint wasn’t impressed with my late arrival so I got stuck on laundry duty after training.
