As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Monday, March 1

1. Was hoping to go to the Independence Hall today to celebrate Korea’s Independence Day but waking up to a rainy Cheonan sky pretty much killed those plans.

2. The boxing club was closed today and although I do have the key, I decided to reward my religious running with another day off boxing.

3. Yesterday’s interrupted date resumed today, so we headed out for a mid-afternoon date.

4. Our day date consisted of lunch out and a movie. Checked out “Couples’ Retreat”.

5. After our little day date we came back to Ggum Guum, laid on the floor, relaxed, and studied together. I studied Korean and Snickers studied English, or so he tried. I tell ya, if he honestly was one of my students he’d fail miserably. He’d get an “A” for cuteness but a “F” for effort. He’s got unfinished homework in his notebook that’s been sitting there since September!

6. While Snickers’ attention to learning English seems to only be focused on learning bad words or flirtatious things to say, my attention with Korean lately seems to focus on fighting phrases. Oddly enough, I’ll be able to practice my newly acquired fighting phrases at boxing. Motor Cross, Black Skinny and I are always throwing around threats, jokingly that is.

7. Eagerly want the March 2010 issue of Oxygen Fitness Magazine… any senders?!

8. Got asked to send some recent model shots to a filming agency that found me via my modeling agency here in Korea. Mind ya, I haven’t had any professional shots done of me since I did a photo shoot at the boxing club, back many moons ago.

9. Snickers volunteered to be a kind of stand-in photographer and then off I sent the shots to the filming agency.
10. Am hanging with the Wonder Girls on Thursday!!! Yup, that’s right… pretty cool. Tonight the filming agency booked me for a commercial filming this Thursday that features the girl band. Good stuff!!!

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Nobody, nobody but you?

Wow! That's so cool. I wonder if they are nice in real life? I was never huge into K-Pop but everyone knows the Wonder Girls.
