As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

For the next two weeks Snickers will be working at this job site, a public school that is getting a new gymnasim made.

I showed up on Wednesday with bottles of juice for my handsome, hardworking man.

It crushed me when he asked me if I was even remotely embarrassed that he was working such a low level position. "Money is money and your money is no less green than the richest of rich men, but it's probably more honestly made" was what I told him. Of course I am not embarrassed. I respect him for his hard efforts but if I had it my way, he wouldn't work a day in his life beyond his boxing career.

if you really mean what you say, your man is a very lucky man. It's rare to find a Korean woman who thinks like you do. I hope you never change...

That last sentence made me teary-eyed, and it is exactly how I feel about my wonderful (and beautiful Korean) man too (although he's not a boxer, but you know what I mean ^^).
