As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Tuesday, May 25

I’ve decided to change the format of my daily homepage entries, and instead of writing about ten highlights of my day, I’m going to pick one or two things to write about… or many, my choice. Some days I may ramble on and on but some days I may stick to writing only a couple of words.

Upcoming things in my schedule:

Saturday, May 29 to Sunday, May 30
Filming with Arirang TV on a two-day cruise

Monday, May 31
Filming a commercial

Sunday, June 6
Filming with Arirang TV on a fishing boat excursion

No plans to travel to Canada until the original planned date (August 5) because of doctor’s orders and my father’s orders. Mama Bere is to recover in peace and keep her daily activities to an all-time minimum.

As for boxing, no definite word yet on when Snickers will be fighting (very frustrating issue there) but I may have a fight scheduled for the next upcoming month or so… stay tuned.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Should I keep writing a question of the day?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.

Sounds like your mom is doing better. That's great!
