As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Tuesday, June 1

What's your body shape?

Korea is all about it's love of the "s-line" but the truth of the matter is bodies come in all shapes and sizes... and colours for that matter. I had Snickers pick out my body shape and he's convinced I'm shape M. My hips are pretty much hidden, making my waistline as curvy as a middle school girl (which is not curvy). I guess that's why I was told I looked like a Chinese boy, a comment I have yet to forget and will forever find funny.

Anyways, I thought it interesting to search out my body shape and get some tips from the pros on how to dress for my body time. These days however, with the exception of when I tutor at my language group, my wardrobe pretty much consists of Adidas training wear only.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What's the skinny on wearing skinny jeans?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Each individual woman's body demands to be accepted on its own terms.
