Waking up at noon, though it’s a sweet change from the 6am wake-up-and-run mornings I did in Canada, it’s not what I want to get comfortable doing.
Starting my day at 12noon meant I had a busy day of running around ahead of me so I kicked it off with a good hearty meal out with Snickers. We both took the day off boxing training on account that we had a lot of errands to run, well that and we started the day off so late… and the movie “Avatar” was on TV. Our training schedules are still out of sink and are whacked so the plan is that tomorrow we’ll be starting fresh and getting back into the hardcore swing of training… am looking forward to it too.
Things to do today:
1. drop off the English magazines I bought in Canada at my friend’s hair shop
2. grocery shopping
3. pick up more backup meds for Mi Nam at the vet
4. visit the bank
5. go to the post office to mail my letters to Canada
6. check out if the Aldo store in Yawoori is any good (a big NO to that!!!)
7. check-in at the fitness gym to let them know I’m back in the country
8. phone interview for a possible voice-over job
9. reply to job offer emails
10. job hunting
Things to do tomorrow:
1. do a timed 9km run
2. plan my boxercise class (idea I’m working on for my new girls-only club)
3. boxing in the evening
4. teach Snickers the p90x Ab Ripper X workout
5. work on revising and editing my fitness book
6. bathe Mi Nam
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Hey Amy,
Glad to see you are still doing boxing and trying to get an all girls club going. That's the best thing. I've been going about two nights a week sparring with Shawna and I consider myself lucky to have a partner my weight to spar with. She gives me inspiration to improve although at times it can be frustrating.
Let me know how you are doing.
Beth
Great recent pictures of you by the way. :)
it still won't allow me to put my name and url for some reason.
