As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Adidas is ALL in... Friday, October 21

Had my much anticipated, overly excited about meeting with Adidas today in Seoul.

We took the elevator up to the 6th floor, buzzed in, and were escorted through a room with shelves and racks upon racks of Adidas clothing, equipment and so forth, to a private office where my name was written on the board.

Friday, 21st
Amy comes to visit

Then the General Manager Mr. Arciga greeted us with a big smile.

We sat down in this office -- Mr. Arciga, Snickers, myself, and one of Mr. Arciga's workers -- and had a chat. We talked for almost 2 hours, and what started off as him simply asking us to introduce ourselves lead to us telling more personal stories related to our boxing and Korea's boxing community. We also talked about how I can aid Adidas and I really honestly hope I can support them and give back to them the level of support they have continually shown me.

It was a good talk. It was a great talk, and I left feeling so incredibly blessed and honored to have Adidas supporting me, supporting me not only as a individual boxer but also supporting Snickers' boxing and supporting my fitness company's boxercise class.

In our meeting, I was handed an Adidas catologue and was basically asked "What do you need?". It feels so, so, so amazing to be so supported by not only such a big multinational company but also by the people who run it, many of whom have never ever met me or don't know me beyond the walls of their office.

Adidas IS all in... just like they say in their motto. Adidas is ALL in and I'm still very much on a natural high from it.
