Holidays either require me to do things I don’t particularly want to do or mean I’m not able to do the things I want to do. Now that I’m married, I have family responsibilities connected to holidays and as for me saying holidays mean I’m not able to do the things I want to do, I was referring to my boxing and the fact that many places close for the holidays.
Today was a holiday, so downtown where I live was packed, the riverside path were I run was buzzing with people, the fitness gym was closed so I couldn’t do my weight training, my sponsor’s office was closed so I couldn’t drop by for cash, and the boxing club was closed so I was forced to train alone. I’ve got a spare key to the boxing club so I was able to go in and train but it definitely isn’t the same training without my overly-hyper High School Kiddies and awesome teammates.
Kept myself busy today by planning things for my girls-only club. The feedback I’m getting from those in my club is so positive, which only feeds my energy and eagerness to do more with and for them, so today I got down to business, working on various other activities and outings I’m planning.
Upcoming activities I’m working on:
Sunday, October 16 --> Private Boxercise Class
Saturday, October 22 --> Bras For A Cause (cancer fundraiser)
Friday, October 28 --> Rockin’ Halloween with the Rocky Horror Picture Show
Sunday, November 6 or 13 --> Splish-Splash Spa Day
Friday, November 18 --> Livin’ It Up with Some Live Music
Got a great idea today – how about start an official club newsletter?! Good stuff. So that’s what I did today also. I created my own newsletter for Seoul Girls Night (or Day) Out, titled it “The Fab-Gal’s Newsletter” and emailed it out to all my members.
