As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I've thought about what to say for the last 16 hrs. I still don't know. I feel obligated to write as I have enjoyed your life experiences. You've been very tested recently. Hard to imagine no Mi Nam. I will just say I feel very sorry and empty. I don't really know you but have been visiting your writings and videos for awhile. I am very surprised I feel like this. You must feel just terrible. Take your time and return when you can smile about his memories. I captured some of your early Ustreams and one had Mi Nam. I believe it was when you first got your boxing license? Its not real good but if you want it, I will send it though I'm sure you have much better.

I am so sorry to hear about Mi Nam and know how much you loved him. That is the one thing all of us face when we have a pet is that one day they like us pass on. I hope you take comfort when you think of all the good times you had with him.
