As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

The evolution of Pyen Chi, the Pee Master Beast of Fur.

She went from being this overly-annoying ball of fur that bit everything and everyone and freely peed, to this massive, beautiful gal that I simply can't kiss enough.

Snickers thinks I'm silly cause I talk to Pyen Chi but sometimes I seriously think she's trying to digest and make sense of what I'm saying. She told me today that she too misses Mi Nam every single damn day!

Most dog owners I know talk to their dog to a certain degree. They may not understand certain words, but they can sense how a the owner(s) feels through the tone of their voice and body language.

Dogs can understand up to 200 words, according to experts (easy to Google, if you want to read more).

I lived in Cambodia for a year and adopted a grown-up dog while I was there. It was very interesting because she couldn't recognize any words at first. My two other dogs would get excited or know what was coming when I said certain words, and she looked totally confused! She eventually learned those words and I think she's up to speed now :)
