More Adidas stuff came today... awesome!!!
Actually more than just Adidas came knocking on my door today.
Today was quite the busy day for delivery men here in Cheonan – a shipment from Bodybuilding.com in the States for my Fat to Phat Challenge, Western goodies from Mrs. R. in Canada, Adidas stuff from Korea, Second Skin clothing from Korea... to name a few.
EIGHT deliveries in total today... cool.
I think the coolest of the delivers, despite Adidas always bringing me such pride, were the Western goodies from Mrs. R, a long time friend of my family. She had sent me tons of Splenda, Crest toothpaste, a couple of lip balms, two cute Santa frames, apple cider… and the ever so loved but dangerously delicious Reese Pieces Peanut Butter Cups. Her sweet gift was a totally unanticipated, randomly sent box of pure sweetness and it tickled a sweet bone in my body.
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
