And what better way to work off the meal than to break out into a dance with my man... hahaha. It was a mix between ninja poses, a lot of tush-shaking, and some funky hand movements... hahaha.
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

After weigh-in, we did the traditional Korean boxer thing to do after every and any weigh-in -- we ate chicken soup. I had stashed a small container of banana milk in my pocket so I got to sip on that right after weighing in and let me tell you, it tasted like I was drinking liquid gold -- pure delish!!!
Then in the evening we ate some more. I loaded up on lots of veggies and protein.
The next day was fight day, here's one of Snickers' buddy. He was the main match of the day; here's him talking to his opponent, a fighter from China.
And here's me, not looking so great but definitely feeling like a fighter.
