As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Beach Bound... Sunday, March 4

Saw the funniest thing today... hahaha. While we were walking along the beach today, just the three of us, we started to pick up random star fish lying around. My first thought was to throw them back into the water, as was Big Foot's thought, so that's what we did. Snickers argued with us, telling us that they're bad for Korea and insisted with let them risk getting stepped on on the beach. Big Foot decided to take one home with him, to dry it, but after walking around for a bit with it he said he felt quilty taking it. Upon telling us this, we took a picture of it and then he threw it into the water but what should happen but it land smack dab in the middle of a rock out in the ocean. He couldn't have aimed better even if he tried.

Since Big Foot's been here, he's been introduced to a lot of various Korean foods. Korean food definitely is amazing and it's no wonder we've highlighted it so much on his trip. It's like he's on a food tour of Korea, tasting so many of its' delish dishes and wicked food. Today he indulged in Korean sushi, snacked on dry fish and had some more street egg bread that he's officially addicted to... hahaha. We've been taking him on various road trips and whatnot but everyday we've definitely made an effort to highlight yet another one of Korea's amazing dishes.
