As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Pyen Chi shouldn't be sitting on the couch, she's not allowed, and I shouldn't be writing out such silly things-to-do lists with mundane things, but both happened today.
After Mother Nature kicked my butt by making me sweat like a mad woman while out on a mid-day run, I decided to not let her get the best of my afternoon.  Meet up with a friend for a coffee/doggie date.
I brought the coffee and the cute doggies; my friend brought the good girl chat.
Then I returned home to find special packages sent from the Cheonan races.  They were awards and gift certificates for those in my Flipside Fitness group who had come in the top three of their race age groups.
Then I topped the afternoon off with a shower for Pyen Chi.  Mother Nature may have not got me a second time today but she definitely got Pyen Chi.  Poor Pyen Chi got super dirty on our doggie date and was left huffing and puffing from the heat.  Nothing a good, cold shower can't solve.
