1. Day two of silence with Spazzy-K. Tension is at an all-time high and I'm sick of their immaturity but I resisted the urge to say, "You are living proof that manure can grow legs and walk. Figure out what that means smarty pants!"
2. Wisdom class has finally mastered the choreography for "Jingle Bell Rock". They're definitely going to rock the house at the Christmas show!
3. Had Dave, Steve and Shannon watch Dream class perform "The Shoemaker and the Elves" and I was so proud that they've got the lines and play down to an art. Some still do "sillies" on stage but these mini Koreans are amazing!
4. Voted Jimmy the best "Shoemaker" with his shocking performance in the play... he's the leading role and many thought he couldn't pull off the part. I am so proud of you Jimmy!
5. Took a noise-drive after my stiletto shoes got caught on my pants. Wasn't embarrassed but screwed up my wrist a bit. See kids, this is why we don't run at SLP. Way to make an example out of myself.
6. Picked up and left school early. Ventured out to Seoul for the sake of getting out of the school, away from Spazzy-K, and to clear my head.
7. Stopped by Kim's Boxing Club and ran into my friend Park. I'm thinking he got the impression I was there to see him, which I was not. Totally missing EMBA (Egerton's boxing gym back in Toronto).
8. Celebrated the fact that tomorrow is Friday... finally. It's been a really rough and eventful week.
9. Went to bed at 9pm only to wake up around 11pm and finally return to bed around 3am.
10. Freaked out on Ryan for his silly excuse as to why he's not showing up at my kindergarten Christmas show. Gave him a reality check about what it means to be a foreigner..... now I think he's coming.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What's your worse character fault?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
As useless as rubber lips on a woodpecker.
-- Earl Pitts
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
