1. The more and more I stay here, the more and more people tell me Canada is not my home. Had a heck of a time trying to prove to the Ontario health card agency that I am from Ontario, Canada. Turns out I really don't have a paper trail of my existence here.
2. Definitely missing Korea!
3. Rushed out to North York only to arrive late and without Pete's new cell number. Sorry Pete... I was looking forward to seeing you and this sucks that I don't know when we'll get another chance.
4. Collect called home and getting my parents to retrieve a number from my Korean cell phone was like performing brain surgery.
5. Meet up with a certain "someone" (no, not "The Ex") for coffee and he always seems to amaze me with his "interesting" questions and his "interesting" comments. A thought a year later he would have matured him by now. How old did you say you are?! When I first met him I thought he was beautiful but now he's just plain ugly! Interesting.
6. Never felt more sure about leaving "him" as I do right now!!! And to think I dated him..... Ryan, you're like a thousand times sweeter, smarter, funnier, and more honest than him.
7. Met up with my bud Papa Pump (Mike) and so off to the Yorkdale mall we went. Good times!
8. Stocked up on "gear" at La Senza.... decided that this year I'm going to head into the new year different.
9. While waiting for my GO Train, I called up Graham and somehow got convinced to come to his little house party. It was really nice to see him and Madi, as well as Duncan and Scott.
10. Duncan that was a classic move.... sliding down the car window as we passed those girls. A think Scott was embarrassed but we all had a good laugh!
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Have you ever been so wrong about someone?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
I'm looking for a breeder; I want to make a champion!
-- Papa Pump
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
