As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Friday, January 6

1. Interesting. Hanna came to school with her hair and permed. Something about dying and perming such a young child's hair disturbs me. She is 5yrs old but her hair has already been so over processed.
2. Tutoring Hanna in the morning was both very successful and discouraging. She's farther behind the class than I initially thought bimpressivelygly tries hard.
3. Jake pulled a tantrum in my gym class cause he couldn't be my partner. Since I've returned from Canada he's been pulling these rtantrumsndrums to get my attention. Told him he couldn't be my partner cause he was crying and so he couldn't see ve'd lose. I know it was a bit harsh but he got the message.
4. Introduced my Wisdom and Dream class hilariousholiarious game of human bowling. It was a lot of fun until Terry got too excited with rolling the ball. He swung his arm to high and "swish" went the ball, "bang" went it as it hit me in the head. The kids had a good laugh though.
5. Am convinced that I got hit on the bum by almost every kindergarten student at school today. What's the deal with that?!
6. Wasted my time teaching virgo class. Talk about complete frustration. I don't know why I even write lessons for this class when all I've done for the past two lessons is explain the other teacher's homework sheet. Why do I have to symbol-code the books for a 2-1 class?
7. Got to love my Leo class cheerleaders who always insist on showing me their silly cheer when they see me.
8. Almost got my ear ripped off by Julie in my Leo class when she mistook my earrings for clip-ons. Ouch!!!
9. Crashed around 6:30pm and woke up to a dozen messages on my msn. Woke up too late to go to the wine bar with Tasha and too late to do anything besides continue my wait for Ryan.
10. Ryan showed up fashionably late.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What was Captian Hook's name before he had a hook for a hand?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
