1. Am considering not bothering wearing make-up to school. By the time 11 am snacktime comes around practically all my make-up has been kissed off by Wisdom class.... especially because of Jack!
2. Wisdom Jack annouced to the class that I said he was the best kisser. I tried to hush him cause as funny as it is, I'm sure people will take it the wrong way. Ah kids... so innocent!
3. Funny how things that are accepted here would totally not be allowed in Canada... wrote "love letters" to my Wisdom students. Relax... it's a sneaky way I've discovered of getting them to write more and I'm a genious for thinking of it!
4. What a fantastic relief... today wasn't a "Black Monday" with teaching the kindergarten Glory class. Listened to Jess' sticker book drama story, gave him a new sticker book with some stickers and now he's like my best friend.
5. No sign of my contract... should have got him to pinky-swear. News is that I'll get it tomorrow. Good stuff. I can't wait till March!
6. Had to sit through about an hour and a half of teacher b.s. in the staff room. Talk is cheap, the supply exceeds the demand. Have to give this person credit though for their ideas but dude, before you aim for the stars you first might want to come up to ground level.
7. Word on the street (or at least msn) is that Shannon is dating.... Hmmm, interesting. Turns out his name is Tim Hortons but I think we're ALL in love with him!!!
8. Just as I was about to step out the door in came Ryan carrying a HUGE block of medium cheddar cheese! Sweet!
9. Going on mini excursions with Ryan is always full of laughs!!! I laughed when his scooter failed and he filled it up with lighter fluid; I laughed when he so proudly showed how his army jacket can accomidate ALL our shopping items; I laughed when he showed off his Michael Jackson moves; and I laughed at his lecture about dust. Lots more laughs too!!!
10. The highlight of my night definitely was when I found out Ryan had been eagerly trying to learn the lyrics of one of my favorite Raffi songs. He started singing the song and I was so shocked, that's when he told me his cute secret.

As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
