1. Shocked as Ryan spent 13,000 won (=$13) for TWO pairs of socks!!! I’m hoping that the toes are at least gold-knit. Had to laugh though cause I’m notorious for taking socks and so I give these socks two weeks before I find them in my drawer.
2. Ryan’s pre-work prep talk… “Give medium and stay away from Jaja” And no, although Jaja means grandfather in Polish, in this case it’s an abbreviation for something/someone at work. (J & J. A)
3. Lunch at TGIF… “Inside here everyday is Friday”, oh don’t I wish that was true.
4. Always fasinated by some of the unique fashion statements people here are making. I think the fashion statement the lady at the TGIF restaurant was that she had no fashion sense. I love it, three different patterns and none of them matched.
5. Big plans for March have started to evolve…. So happy!
6. Decided that this year is definitely going to be MY year!!!
7. Movie day at Ryan’s.
8. Take back my complaints to Ryan about his selection of movies. “National Treasure” was actually really good.
9. Watched this Korean rendition of “The Scarlet Letter” and found out that one of the leading female characters killed herself after the filming of this movie. I guess filling the same bloody (literally that is) scene for about 13 hours really had it’s effects on her. It’s really sad too cause she was such a young and beautiful actress.
10. Got a random text message from some stranger... this carried on for a good part of the evening. Turns out it's some 19yr old Korean kid who was doing it for kicks.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Have you ever noticed that if you rearranged the letters in mother in law, they come out to Woman Hitler?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Don't expect anything original from an echo.

As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
