1. Patricia's bad vibes still linger Cheonan..... took her housecoat and after about 5 mins I realized why she had left it here. It sheds worse than a huge white sheep dog on a hot summer day!
2. Received a package from Canada... from my mom. It was full of exactly what I try to stay away from.... sweets! But it did also include a little piece of heaven.... Macaroni and cheese!
3. Had a mini cooking class with Dream class and although I realize making a salad isn't exactly cooking, I was still a bit nervous as to what to include in the salad. Pretty sad I know.
4. Our salad was a huge success and I particularly am proud of my dressing selection.... mango orange dressing mixed with a dash of black sesame seed dressing.
5. Played phone tag with Ryan for a good part of the day and then picked up the game again around 3am. Game ended at 3:23am.
6. Am sure I've been a bad parent to Daewoo and so I skipped training to spend some play time with him.... before I left again to hang out with Young Un, Tasha and Woo. We went to MBar and Tasha's Aussie friend Pom came from Seoul to join us.
7. The main highlight of my day has to definitely be when Woo informed me that he and Young Un will soon be working at my gym!!!! Apparently the gym's manager fired everyone... Including Beauty and the Beast, and Flash girl! Looks like we'll be running the show there now.
8. Got word that I'll be able to join Tasha on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Korean language lessons cause of the change of time!
9. Good times were had by all at MBar and I especially had a good time cause I didn't have to put up with Je Min's "you break my heart" whinning. We got a bit out of hand and loud but it's all good.
10. Ryan's my hero. I texted him saying that I needed help (didn't need help, just was tired) and he came to my rescue and drove me home. It was a very 'eventful' evening and Ryan's scooter was the perfect get-away vehicle.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
How sweet can life get?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.
-- Ellen Parr
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
