As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of My Day...Tuesday October 18

1. My blog has been officially announced on the Cheonan message board so I suppose I have to take back some things I've said.... just jokes. I will say one thing though, I know exactly who is reading this.... big brother is watching YOU!
2. Made Wisdom Joel cry by accident after I told him to not color, wait for everyone else. Surprisingly enough it's cause he was crying that he got all affectionate towards me. He's the most reserved little kid and so today was the first time he's really hugged me.
3. Twisted my ankle busting out my moves with Dream class after lunch when we decided to have a spontaneous dance session. It was worth it though cause I think I've finally taught Jimmy and Roy "the running man", priceless!
4. Went on the search for black hair dye and after four stores, can out empty handed. I know 90% of Koreans have naturally black hair but they also have straight hair and yet they still get it professionally straightened. Thought I'd have some luck.
5. Took my search all the way to Emart where I finally find hair dye but was 100 won (=10 cents CDN) short. No worries though cause I ended up finding exactly that much on the floor as I walked out.
6. Met one of Korea's most well-off men, well beside one of my students' dads. He was dressed to impress, smelling good, and his sleek little sports car almost hit me as I walked out of Emart. I was rather mellow-dramatic with my half fall.
7. Had an interesting chat with the man that almost killed me. Turns out Mr Phat boy is American-Korean. A good looking Korean man with a bad stereotypical American attitude. He's more American than Korean and so that pretty much killed the conversation!
8. Dyed my hair blacker than black... it's jet black now!
9. I think I got more hair dye on my pants and bathroom floor than in my hair... opps. At least this time I didn't accidentally dye Daewoo's hair.
10. Took the night off training not because of last night's "shower scene" but because I thought I'd try out a little anger management training with Daewoo. He spontaneously barks at random things. What a mad little boy.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Do you ever wish you met someone earlier on in life cause it would have changed your situation?
