1. Well my sad attempt to quit coffee has hit an all time low.... drank 3 coffees today but I should mention that I use 2 coffee packs per cup.... 6 cups today! Yikes!
2. Joined Dream and Wisdom classes together to do a massive paper mache craft and of course it ended in Jules and me making everyone's craft.
3. My elementary Peace English class has turned into a kind of English/Military training class. Every time they speak Korean they have to give me two push-ups mind you I spent the first five minutes trying to teach them how to do a proper push-up. I figure in a few weeks John and James will either be fluent in English or buff boys.
4. Elementary Glory class attendance is up to four students now with the addition of Sally. She was at the 2-5 level and dropped down to my class, 1-6. Two questions here.... who put here in 2-5 in the first place and what were they thinking? (We they even thinking?)
5. Was hoping Sally's first day in the class would be as successful as Sophia's but it was the opposite. Slowly her body language was changing and so I knew the eventual breakdown and cry was coming. It was awful.
6. Had my Hi Kids Peace class today and it's funny to see how intrigue they are about my arms. As a joke I told them if they were good for me I'd flex. I thought it was funny but they actually took me up on my word.
7. Now I'm not a insecure person and I definitely am not one at the gym either but you know when you can feel people looking at you.... well, tonight at training it was amplified with the help of two women who were scoping out the gym and so obviously pointing at me. They thought my training was "funny".... I'll show you funny ladies. Funny is when I pick you both up with one arm and throw you!
8. Knowing I was being mocked just added fuel to my training session and so I had a wicked train.
9. Got followed into the movie store by Daewoo's evil twin brother and his faithful sidekick. I'm sure the store owner really loved having three dogs in the store (I was carrying Daewoo).
10. Came home and crashed to a cheesy movie, "Notting Hill". What was Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant thinking when they agreed to this movie? They're the only thing that the movie has going for it!
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Do you have any superstitions?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,requires brains.
-- Mary Pettibone Poole
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
