As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of My Day...Monday November 7

1. Another "Black Monday" with Glory class. Today's stats included kicking 3 students out of my class, 10 minutes of pure crowd control, 1 minute of silence, 2 listening students, 2 student fights, and 1 annoyed teacher (me).
2. Wisdom Kevin told John that my kisses are "magic kisses" after John had hurt his fingers and I kissed them. My mom use to always do this to me when I was young and for whatever reasons, things always seemed to feel better after.
3. Had a video conference with my ex boss from Canada and his friend Neil. It was great to see Rooster but I found out some extremely sad news about a once close friend and former co-worker. She's self-distracting and if it weren't for the millions of miles between us I'd go there and beat some sense into her myself!
4. Came to the realization that I may never live in Canada again if my investment is successful. I've got absolutely no agenda right now for the future and so it's all good!
5. Talked on the phone with Paulo for the first time since I broke off the engagement and I don't think I've ever had such a relaxed conversation with him. We've got absolutely no expectations for each other.
6. Had a meeting with my investment partners and definitely optimistic about my future in Korea!!!
7. Met one of Korea's most interesting taxi drivers. We talked about relationships and he was particularly interested in my attraction to Korean men. Fill out an application buddy...just joking. Ha ha ha.
8. Tonight was the first time Ryan and I ever been serious. While hanging out with him he started to fall asleep but I kept on talking to him. His answer to my question totally took me off guard and so I ended my visit there on a sour note.
9. Calmed myself down during the trip home and then called him cause I refuse to go to bed upset or mad. It was just a simple matter of miscommunication but it hit a sensitive spot.
10. Resolved things with Ryan and now I think we've got a better understanding of each other but I still haven't learned that these late, late nights are going to be the death of me. Went to bed at exactly 5:30am.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
How much of a risk are you willing to take to seek out happiness?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
If life is a bowl of cherries then why am I with a peach?!
