As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of My Day...Saturday November 5

1. Woke up at 10:30am to my alarm clock going crazy. Couldn't remember why I had set it so I went back to bed. Woke up at 11:11am to someone phoning me, didn't answer though cause I wanted to sleep. Woke up at 11:32am and realized that I was suppose to be at the staff meeting at 11am.
2. Did the walk of shame into the staff meeting...I was 44 minutes late! It was all jokes but it was still nonetheless embarrassing.

3. Had a serious training session with Young Un. We worked on back today and then I kicked my own butt on the treadmill.
4. Started a little friendly competition with my brother Robbie. A little game of "cat and mouse". Some of you are aware of what I'm talking about; we want to see who can be the better mouse in their own game. Length of game is one week. Scored the first game point at exactly 9:33pm. Amy 2, Robbie 1.
5. Had this great idea to curl my hair and that was a disaster, not such a great idea considering I can't see the back of my head. My heroine for the night was Jules who knocked on my door and ended up helping me out.
6. Sewed my button on my new jacket and left the house looking like I was "lop-sided"! Haste makes waste!
7. Went out with Dave, Tasha, Ellie, Jen, and Patty to MBar for what appeared to be just a group of friends but it was really celebration time for me! Not only am I beating Rob at our game but I also found out today
I am now Auntie Amy and tonight I also became Cheonan's newest investor!

8. After 9 months, us foreigners finally got to go out with just Ellie (Director Lee's wife) as oppose to her and Mr. Lee. I totally love this lady. She's just the sweetest and most innocent person I've met. Had such good laughs with her and had tons of fun trying to teach her to dance. Now my I have two dancing students, Ellie and Ryan.
9. Thinking about tattooing "I don't like white men" on my forehead so that it's quite obvious to them that I can't stand their annoying character and am not attracted to them. Louis thinks I hate the skin I'm in but that's not true. But I much rather prefer a gentle pretty Korean man to an aggressive, in your face, loud and tough-acting guy...white man! It's all about the attitude they give off.
10. Chilled out on the street curbside talking to Ryan on the phone at 4am and watched in fear as one of Cheonan's skinniest street cats came beside me and sniffed out my shoes. I was tempted to kick it but I was frozen.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What do you really want to do?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly.
