As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of My Day...Saturday November 12

1. Woke up in a quiet, nice, cozy and warm apartment.... mind you, it wasn't mine. Having no heat is a pain but is giving me reason why to have sleepovers.
2. Stayed inside like a hermit and finally ventured outside around 4:30pm.
3. Opted out for Korean food and ventured to T.G.I.F. with Ryan for the best Cajun chicken salad with a side order of cheese and broccoli soup. Rolled our stuffed selves home and vegged out for another hour or so.
4. Went with Ryan to meet up with Kat and her friends at MBar. We watched the soccer game and although the tied game was disappointing, seeing the confused look on Kat's face as Ryan told her he was my boyfriend made my night. She asked us if we ever hung out and Ryan told her he was my boyfriend as of 2hrs ago. As to what happened 2hrs ago.... even I don't know! ㅋㅋㅋ
5. Left MBar and Kat was still confused. I think she thought we were bluffing.
6. Always am intrigued at how people look at Ryan and me when we walk down the street. I guess seeing a Korean man arm and with a western woman is in fact as rare as Ryan says it is. Interesting.
7. Relieved to find out that there's no negative stereotypes that go with a Korean man and a western woman.
8. Ate fish soup and actually liked it despite my initial hesitation and refusal to eat it.
9. Thought of 101 ways how to sneak Ryan's bathtub out of his place. I haven't had a bath in over 9 months..... relax there, I do shower!
10. Talk about last minute planning.... just tonight Ryan got invited to his friend's wedding tomorrow! Looks like I'll be his date. This should be entertaining and interesting!

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What's a craving you commonly have?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
I don't believe in luck, I believe in myself.
