As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of My Day...Sunday November 13

1. Woke up and headed to Seoul to attend my first Korean wedding.... the wedding of Ryan's friend. Was kind of nervous to meet his friends but Ryan had picked out my outfit so I was a bit more comfortable. If all else failed, I still looked good.
2. Met many of Ryan's highschool chums and thought it was so great how many tested and tried out their English on me. It was so funny but so flattering too.
3. Am convinced after seeing my first modern Korean wedding that I'll definitely have to show Ryan a Canadian wedding. The bride and groom didn't even kiss.... what's up with that?! As far as I'm concerned, they never officially "sealed" the wed vow promise. Mind you, they never got the chance to say "I do" either! Interesting.
4. Spent a few hours shopping with the only male I know that can tolerate shopping... Ryan. He shops like a woman and I shop like a man! ㅋㅋㅋ!
5. While cruising along the crowded streets and stores, Ryan noticed a local Korean celebrity... Andre Kim. Apparently he's this widely well-known Korean designer that turned down Michael Jackson's offer to be his personal designer. Mind you, for a man that designs clothes, he sure had an unusual style with his hair, or should I say painted skin?!
6. Talk about feeling awkward, the stores in the mall didn't really have changing rooms and so I stood in front of people trying on skirts over top of my pants.
7. Ryan bought this new blazer and I am convinced after seeing him in his new black velvet blazer that he's got to be the most beautiful man in Korean, hands down!
8. Loved it when the sellers talked to me in Korean... I tried to play along with it for the most part and so I think I was somewhat convincing.
9. After a long day of walking in high heels (old school high heels too), Ryan offered to give me a foot message. Had I not liked him I would have allowed him and would have laughed at his pain and suffering. ㅋㅋㅋ!
10. Realized that I haven't slept in my own bed for three nights now.... Daewoo must be lonely, either that or he's frozen by now!

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Do you love her because she is beautiful or is she beautiful because you love her?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
You a cry wolfier!
