1. Going out for breakfast just ain't like it use to be. Going out for breakfast consists of bimbibob and water as oppose to the good old bacon and eggs, and large glass of freshly squeeze orange juice.
2. And they wonder why the children are getting bigger...watched the kimbob lady's four year old daughter sit and attack a large container of ice cream. She's hard core!
3. Oh the horror...went with Tasha for ice cream and discovered that the Baskin Robins near our house has closed. This is the second one to close in Cheonan. Is Baskin Robins slowly leaving us in Korea?
4. Received a posted comment on my blog today from a mysterious 19 year old dude named John. He proclaimed his love for me but I'm rather confused to who he is. My guess is he's another fan member looking for his fan club t-shirt in the mail....jokes!
5. Spent a good part of my day researching investments and possible directions for my own investment that I looking to start up.
6. Day two of the game. Score is Amy 3, Robbie 2. Playing the game right but got the yellow card from Robbie when I set-up a game point. It was worth it though even if I didn't get a point.
7. Got the hint that my favorite Italiano back in Canada misses me after I received a total of 14 emails from him today.
8. Scored free chicken from the chicken man next door who was so fascinated with my curly hair. He said he liked my perm but I don't have a perm. I suppose this means he'll be disappointed and I'll be ugly to him when he sees me tomorrow with my normal straight hair.
9. Caught Ryan kissing my dog, I mean, saw him letting Daewoo lick his face. They say a dog's mouth is the cleanest of all but who are "they"? Daewoo cleans himself with his tongue.
10. Spent the evening with my two most favorite Koreans... Daewoo and Ryan. I'd have to say that Young Un is a close second and could quite possibly knock out Daewoo as his competition.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Is your second toe longer than your big toe?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
-- Martin Luther King, Jr.
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
