1. Kids do the darnest thing. In my afternoon Glory class we started this new trend. When someone's not listening or is being silly, you push their forehead back. Thought it was funny until I clued in that one of the student's parents was watching the monitor.
2. Had a business meeting with some investors and a key partner. Korea has no idea what is going to hit them!
3. Game over with Robbie on the account that we both suck at being mice. I think we both like the chase more than we like to be chased and that's basically what it boils down to.
4. Scored a free DVD player from a guy I've worked with once in Korea. He's my boss' friend and I never talk to him.
5. Realized the DVD was too good to be true when I tried to hook it up and found out that my tv has absolutely no connection outlets. So now it's just another thing to dust.
6. Had a great run at training but left the gym feeling like I was going to faint. Went a bit too hard with the intensity level.
7. Ryan proved once again that all guys aren't the same.... they're not all bad. He did a surprise visit to make sure I knew he was sorry about Monday night but what did I do.....I ignored my door. Nice eh?! So he stood there and called me. Of course I let him in.
8. Felt like I was having a brain hemorrhage when I was forced to shower in cold, cold, COLD water. Long story but the short of the story is that I've got no hydro. Discovered this when I went to shower. Not nice!
9. Went to sleep in a cold, cold, COLD room but was somewhat comforted by it. I felt like I was back in Canada sleeping at my parents' house. My parents use to turn down the house temperature around 11pm and so if you weren't already snuggled in bed than you'd be fleeing to your bed for warmth shortly there after!
10. Tried to snuggle with Daewoo for extra warmth and to keep him warm but all it got me was him trying to climb up the back of my shirt.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What's one thing you can't live without?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Have a warm dream
-- Ryan
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
