1. After a brief panic attack last night cause I couldn't find my bank card and finding myself standing in the street penniless (well, wonless in Korea), found my card in my desk at work. All worked up over nothing!
2. Trained my Wisdom class to act like solders when Jenny helper play fights with me. Thought it was funny until I realized that some of them were literally fighting for my life. Kevin and Jack both got upset, thinking I was honestly getting attacked.
3. What a guy! Jack surprised me with a kiss but I wasn't expecting it so when I turned my head he got me right on the lips. There I was, in the middle of the hallway with all the helpers watching Jack kiss me as hard as he could on the lips and for as long as he could hold it too. Who teaches a kid to kiss like that?!
4. Drama 101 with Jimmy. I've got that stop crying on command down pack but he refused to say sorry for opening up with locker on Minseo's head. I let him sweat it out in the hall and boy did he get the message.
5. In attempt to patch up Minseo and Jimmy's friendship, promised them to an ice cream date on November 27th. They're so funny... the are loving the fact that it's a secret between the three of us.
6. Went out for supper with Jules and Jinny..... supper lasted 3 1/2 hours. The funny thing was that I went there hungry and ironically left just as hungry.
7. Well I've got good news and bad news.... good news is I'm staying in Korea for a guaranteed additional two years, bad news is I don't think I'll be able to eat kimchi for another 730 days straight.
8. No training tonight... I think sitting in the same spot for over 3 hours was hard enough.
9. Had my first bath in 9 months!
10. On a sad note, Kwang Chul (Ryan's cousin Hyo Hoon's boyfriend) just received his papers from the government and so he's got two weeks before he has to head off to the Korean army. Ryan says he won't be able to see Hyo Hoon until 100 days have past. That sucks big time!
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What's the one thing you're sure of in life?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.
-- Alan Cohen
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I'm doing fantastic, thanks!
Yes, we'll always have death and taxes. Too bad it wasn't more like love and money... not all of us experience it but we ALL want it. I am fortunate in that I have both.
