1. Finally was able to take Jimmy and Minseo on our ice cream date. Only problem, where do we find ice cream? Baskin Robins has closed and Lotteria has shut off their ice cream till spring.
2. You know you have the best boyfriend when he locks himself in your bathroom and cleans the whole room from ceiling to floor…just cause he’s that sweet!
3. Am convinced Ryan’s worse than my mother when it comes to making sure things are cleaned. I use to only get stuck dusting the house but with Ryan I have to vaccum, do laundry and vaccum.
4. Treated Ryan to Kraft dinner maccaronni and cheese. He said it was “okay” but little does he know Canadian kids LIVE off this stuff!
5. Had asked a friend in Canada to photograph a storybook I desparetly needed but I didn’t realize there was a different version…. Got the different version!
6. Spent a good part of the evening trying to work on Peace class’ play and only got myself more worked up with the thought that it’s not even my class but this is my Sunday evening.
7. Had to totally agree with Jenn, I too am convinced this country doesn’t believe in salt (roads are pure ice).
8. You know you’re hard core when you’re riding your two-wheels (ie. Scooter or motorcycle) in this snowy weather….yes, that includes you Ryan!
9. Scored a copy of “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” off of Jenn! Thanks homegirl.
10. Spent the late, late hours of my Sunday night watching “Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer”… not for pure amusement though of course. Had to write out the dialogue for the Peace class Christmas play.... did I ever mention Peace class isn't even my class?!
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What's your favorite Christmas movie?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
It's confusing. I've had so many wives and so many children I don't know which house to go to first on Christmas.
-- Mikey Rooney
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
