As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Wednesday, February 1

1. Kwang Ho went to Japan today for his new job.
2. I knew I was in for an “interesting” chat with the Big Guy when the first thing out of his mouth today was “we need to talk”. Waited all day for this “interesting” chat that never ended up happening….. and that in itself says a lot to me!
3. Gave Adrian in my elementary Virgo class a clean slate (figuratively speaking) cause he started the class off by apologizing for being so demanding of me. Apology definitely accepted!
4. And just when I thought I was a sure win for “Jerk of the Day”, competition popped up out of the blue…. or should I say an hour later!!!
5. Hero of the day… some 15 yr old Nova Scotia girl who hapkidoed (I know it’s not a word) two dudes as they tried to steal her hand bag. You rock girl…. can I have your autograph?
6. Celebrated my 100th day with Ryan on the Emart curbside waiting for Ryan..... that is, waiting for him to come back after DITCHING ME! Thanks for bringing my keys back but if I get sick cause of this babo stunt you pulled, I'm going to cough and sneeze all over you.... that 's if you apolozie first.
7. Wasn’t too sure if Park came around for a rematch or what but he came around. It totally spooked me and I was shaking due to the mass overload of pumping adrenaline!
8. Although the award for hero of the day is taken, the award for hero of the night goes to Louis for his fast response to my cry.
9. Late night philosophical chat with Louis on life, work, love,… and even kimchi!
10. Ryan’s right… I do write some pretty personal things on this blog, so please don’t read #6. Thanks.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Do you know the difference between being ignorant and being rude?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
An apology is the superglue of life. It can repair just about anything.
