As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Friday, March 3

1. I love it… livin’ the good life here in the pimpin’ pad. Woke up late. Made myself breakfast and a coffee and then stood at the window watching everyone else rush off to work. My plans for today only consisted of one meeting in Asan at 3pm, sweet!
3. Didn’t realize I had a cheerleader in the audience as I introduced myself in front of 50 some Korean and foreign English teachers. Thanks Andrew for the huge standing ovation!
3. Proudly yelled out at the Asan Ed. audience that my boyfriend is Korean… sorry Andrew, I had to set the record straight. They loved it and my co-teacher stood up and cheered! Ya me!
4. Got told that my co-teacher is the envy of all the other female Asan teachers at the meeting because I am the youngest and one of two females. She says she's so lucky to have me.... the feelings are mutual!
5. Haven’t even started my job yet and am already receiving money… great. Got my settlement money today and so I celebrated this fresh new start with a little bit of shopping.
6. Jenn this bookstore is greeeeeeeeeeeeat! Score with the massive flashcards!
7. Oh my gosh…. guess who’s my neighbor…. Je Min and my other buddy from Mbar. Great, now stalker boy is closer than ever!
8. Chatted on msn tonight with Louis and so I finally got to say good-bye to him. Kind of jealous that he had home-made apple pie waiting for him. Ya well.... I've got fresh kimchi. Okay, so the apple pie beats my kimchi. You'll miss the kimchi though!
9. Slowly my house is becoming a home as all the online purchases start arriving at my door. Yesterday it was a cheese grater (which Ryan had no idea how to use, ha, ha, ha); today it was the laundry basket; tomorrow it will hopefully be all the wooden furniture.
10. Got treated to a home cooked dinner by Ryan. He of course added his Korean touch to the meal and so we ate pasta with cheese and a side dish of rice and seaweed.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Where do you see yourself in five years?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
-- Quote from the movie "Billy Madison"
