As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Saturday, March 11

1. Did lots of swimming today.
2. Limited my shopping to the evening only.
3. After numerous visits to various hotels, calling around and even employing a travel agent to assist in my search for an empty hotel room for tonight .... NO LUCK. I was officially an international homeless.
4. Together Wonder Woman and me scammed the system and scored a hotel room for me tonight. I even scored the same room I had been staying in the previous nights.... sweet. See, customer is always right.
5. Chilled out at the poolside with an elderly couple celebrating their 50th anniversary. They were so sweet. I toasted them for their beautiful marriage and they toasted me with their wish that I too may experience what they've been blessed with.
6. Came to the realization that the vast majority of people at my hotel are either honeymooners, retired couples or old men with their INCREDIABLY young Thai girlfriends/wives.
7. Went out for supper with Wonder Woman at a resturant where you cook your own meal at your table.... similar to that in Korea. Mind you, we had no idea what we were cooking. I ate a bit of the mystery meat but decided to play it safe and only eat the veggies.
8. Tonight's dinner table conversation was the "big sexy show". The "Big sexy show" is a show that consists of men dressed up like woman. They dance and sing.... and apparently really fool the audience with their femanine appearance. I think it's rather disturbing and prefer my men to be men. To me, nothing is sexy about a man being prettier than me.... so gross.
9. More pineapple and milk.
10. Wonder Woman left tonight and so I went solo on the streets of Thai to see more before I too leave tomorrow. Thanks to my taxi friend for the cool tutto ride around town. I loved your commentary and rollercoaster driving... very funny. If I'll miss anything about Thai it'll be you!

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Is our waitress a woman with lean, cut arms or a man in a dress?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
In my country, if I knew a man that wore a dress I'd hide him in fear of him being shot.
