As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Sunday, August 20

1. With Ryan off to Seoul today for a family function, I was left in Cheonan by myself and bored out of my skull. I tried to distract myself but was left sitting on the couch bored. And so started my creative thinking on how to waste away the day.
2. After showering and getting all ready, I then had to re-shower after the mini dance-athon. Ha, ha, ha.
3. Decided that I was going to take a mini field trip to Songtan to pick up some movies from one of the locals there that always gives me freebies.
4. Couldn’t decide on what movie to buy and so I bought five… the fifth being a freebie, cool.
5. Whined and dined with Trouble Boy… well, he did all the whining and I did the dining. Mark my words, this is the LAST time I extend my friendship to him. He whining about my boyfriend is just rude, selfish, inappropriate and nonsense. Not to mention, his whining really makes him look ugly!
6. Ate some awesome Philippino food. It was pork and it tasted so sweet. Turns out it’s marinated in sugar… ya, like that’s real healthy for me!
7. Came home and watched a movie with just me, myself and I. Mind ya, I found myself talking to the TV, which I’m told is the first sign of insanity. Turns out I’m not crazy, the taping on these video purchases isn’t so great and so the sound was off.
8. Picked-up some random German words that mistakenly found their way into the taping of these videos. Either they’re subliminal messages, a mistake, or Julia Roberts is a tranquiliquest. She spoke German but by the movement of her mouth, I was convinced she was also speaking English. Talk about talent! Ha, ha, ha.
9. Amused myself with text messaging Ryan thousand times… okay, maybe not that many times but I was so bored.
10. Entertained myself by pumping my house with the tunes of Michael Jackson and watching his “Thriller” video over and over. Say what you want to say about Michael, I dig him! Ha, ha, ha.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What's wrong with Michael?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Dance is the only art of which we ourselves are the stuff of which it is made.
